I found myself thinking of Stevens' "A Clear Day And No Memories"—and I am just now pleasantly waiting for more thoughts to come.Kithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17456824676841760384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5593764226213882767.post-90049016605290827272011-12-21T15:51:52.548-08:002011-12-21T15:51:52.548-08:00I really enjoyed the flow and the imagery of this ...I really enjoyed the flow and the imagery of this write. Especially the stanza which mentions rainless clouds obscuring the sun, and an animal over the skylight. So many things can be read into that.

"5/
A miracle
to make the seen
forerunner
of the unseen
the animal you see
its metamorphosis
deferred

imagination
lurks here
brings concealments
into light
the world inside
the mind
turns upside down" -----

Outstanding stanza! I feel that we, as writers, try to turn a readers' mind upside down, and help them to (forgive the cliche) think out of the box. The second part of this stanza conveys that well.

I look forward to viewing more of your work. Your tempo, formatting, etc. are well put together.

-JessCentranthushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03294636792638405481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5593764226213882767.post-14395143591537903622011-11-12T11:57:11.064-08:002011-11-12T11:57:11.064-08:00i like to read poems , these works great to motiva...i like to read poems , these works great to motivate us , i found same quality in your poems , thanks for this . hope i will see some more soonfijahttp://hindishayarissms.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5593764226213882767.post-78886783677297878002011-11-08T14:13:15.112-08:002011-11-08T14:13:15.112-08:00VIVA Jack CollomVIVA Jack CollomMickey O'Connornoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5593764226213882767.post-62273892558741263002011-11-07T11:36:06.831-08:002011-11-07T11:36:06.831-08:00re: evil wind - "I have walked and prayed for...re: evil wind - "I have walked and prayed for this young child an hour
And heard the sea-wind scream upon the tower,"
mr. yeats - what a line!

i like your poem very much
better to have tried and failed
well,. as the man said, nothing is gained
perhapsAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
